Australia is well known for some of its Big icons. We have the Big Banana, the Big Pineapple and even a big statue of Captain Cook
Tully is a small town about 140 kilometres south of Cairns and is home to the Big Golden Gumboot. The Golden Gumboot stands at an impressive 7.9 metres tall! This also references back to the record annual rainfall of 7,900mm back in 1950. This Golden Gumboot is made of fibreglass and has an internal spiral staircase that leads to a viewing platform at the top.
Be sure to stop by and get a selfie with one of Australia's big icon.
