Tourism Tropical North Queensland (TTNQ) are launching a new Indigenous Tourism Brand ‘Timeless Experiences’ with the tagline ‘Sharing our Reef and Rainforest stories’.
This brand and tag line, along with a core proposition of what TNQ Indigenous tourism is all about, were developed over a period of two years in consultation with the TTNQ members currently delivering Indigenous tourism experiences.
The core proposition is:
Visit us in our Reef and Rainforest country to deepen your connection with the world, through the timeless wisdom of the world’s oldest continuous living cultures.
Tropical North Queensland (TNQ) is a unique place that connects:
The goal is for travellers and agents alike to see TNQ as the place to experience the very best Australian Indigenous products.
The Tropical Coast already has some amazing authentic Indigenous experiences such as the Mungalla Aboriginal Tours - Ingham, Girringun Aboriginal Art Centre - Cardwell, Ingan Tours - Tully, Jitta Art - Innisfail
and the Mamu Tropical Skywalk - Palmerston.
Sonya Jeffrey from Ingan Tours has been a voice for the Tropical Coast in the TTNQ working group behind the development of this new brand.
The brand logo is a stylised Rainbow Serpent in the shape of Australia with the Rainforest & Reef of the TNQ region highlighted with extra green & blue dots.
The brand will be launched at Australian Tourism Exchange in May this year with a new video and brand and product fact sheets.
The Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) is Australia’s largest annual travel and tourism business-to-business event.
ATE brings together Australian tourism businesses and tourism wholesalers and retailers from around the world through a combination of scheduled business appointments and networking events. It also provides international travel buyers with the opportunity to experience Australia’s tourism offering first-hand through pre and post event familiarisations.
Around 1,500 Australian seller delegates from approximately 550 companies, 700 key buyer delegates from over 30 countries, and over 80 international and Australian media attend this global event.
ATE17 will take place at the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC) from 14 to 18 May 2017.
