The 48th annual Queensland Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow was held at the Brisbane Showgrounds last week (8th to 13 June). With over 46,000 attending in the first 5 days alone, this was a great opportunity to put the Tropical Coast in front of thousands of people who are planning to travel in the future. Tropical Coast Tourism Chairman, Mark Evans, was at the show representing our region. "The numbers attending the show each day were slightly up on last year's attendances", said Mr Evans. "1000 Explore Magazines were given out, in conjunction with the Explore map'.
The majority of visitors to the stand were committed to heading North this year, and were extremely interested in the information provided in the Explore Magazine. No doubt, this will result in many of them spending time in our region." Once again, many thanks to Mr & Mrs Evans and other operators who volunteer to man the stalls at events like this at considerable cost to themselves in both money and time away from their businesses.
