Charley's Chocolate at Mission Beach selected in World's Top 50!

Chris & Lyn Jahnke's hard work is once again being rewarded - this time with international recognition for their Mission Beach grown Cocoa.
International Cocoa Awards 2017 World's Top 50

Charley's is one of only three places in the world where you can see the cocoa growing on the tree being turned into the chocolate you can taste (the other two are in Hawaii).
Their chocolate tours are a sensory journey of seeing, touching, smelling and tasting all things chocolate.

Charley’s (Australian Chocolate P/L) has been selected as one of the World's 50 best cocoa producers for their Mount Edna Cocoa. (It's what the Mount Edna Single Origin chocolate is made from)

The Cocoa of Excellence Program 2017 is best described as the World Cocoa Olympics, where thousands of cocoa producers in 40 countries submit their best beans to their national organisers.
The best 2 to 4 per country are selected by these national organisers and sent to program in Paris.

After further evaluation 50 are selected for final judging.
Charley's are part of those 50 and now qualify to be selected for one of the 12-15 International Cocoa Awards for 2017.
