You will be swept away by the history and splendor that Mungalla has to offer. See the amazing story of the Aboriginal people and that were exhibited as cannibals and savages in the nineteenth century circuses and sideshows of Europe and America now a permanent photographic exhibit housed in the historic homestead.
Try your hand at throwing a boomerang. Enjoy a "Kup Murri" (food cooked underground) or their good old fashioned country barbecues. Enjoy the majestic wetlands and birdlife, whilst spotting a crocodile. Enjoy free Indigenous entertainment, local food and market stalls, Girringun Artist Displays, cart rides and children's activities.
